We had an incredible private BBQ evening at the Smokehouse by BraaiCraft. We were staying at their Native Route cottages, and we requested a private dinner for our stay.

They had set up a cosy bonfire in the garden, and we were treated to some exceptional Asado-style mutton and chicken with chimichurri as starters, followed by a delightful chicken galantine with mushroom sauce as the main course. Every dish was prepared to perfection and tasted outstanding.

We also couldn't resist purchasing one of their portable firepits, which is a fantastic addition to our garden.

It was a lovely and relaxed evening, perfectly complemented by our stay at the cottage. We highly recommend Smokehouse by BraaiCraft for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in the mountains.

I visited this place with my mother and aunt, and we thoroughly enjoyed their pulled mutton burgers, perfectly smoked on their beautiful smoker showcased right in the garden.

The smokehouse is pet-friendly, and while we weren’t travelling with our pets this time, it was wonderful to see their elaborate pet menu, featuring smoked pet food and even premium kibbles!

During my week-long solo trip to Manali, I was delighted to discover Smokehouse by BraaiCraft - a cosy in-house restaurant at my accommodation, The Native Route in Shanag. The menu offers an eclectic range of smoked and grilled delights, the portions are massive and completely value for money. I ended up having most of my dinners at the Smokehouse, and loved all their flavors and dishes. The live-grilled Smokehouse Breakfast was a standout, setting the perfect tone for the day. Some of my favourites included the Salsa Sausages (my go-to order), Prawn Salad, Smoked Chicken, and Chicken Asado - each dish bursting with incredible taste. I travelled with my dog Charlie, who also fell in love with the place. The pet-friendly vibe truly shines here, especially with a dedicated Pet Menu. Charlie went gaga over the smoked chicken strips and BBQ meat bites, making it a treat for both of us. Mornings were equally special, with a superb cup of coffee by the brook in the delightful company of Elsa and Lili, the charming resident pets. With its warm hospitality and comfortable on-site accommodation, the Smokehouse is more than just a restaurant and Airbnb - it’s a must-visit retreat that made my time in Manali truly memorable.

We recently hosted a reunion BBQ brunch at Smokehouse for 18 of us, friends and family, and it was such a lovely experience. The Smokehouse team went out of their way to customize the menu to suit our preferences and even took care of food allergies, which we really appreciated. After a couple of hours around the grill, we moved on to the mains, which were not just delicious but beautifully presented too. All in all, a wonderful afternoon. Highly recommend the place!

Excellent food and beautiful views! We had an amazing family lunch at Smokehouse. The mutton roast was the finest I've ever had. It definitely seemed it was slow-cooked over low heat until it was unbelievably tender, succulent, and full of flavour. We also had ordered Galantine and Trout asado. Portions turned out to be huge and the presentation and service took my heart away. The location is peaceful, away from traffic and crowds, allowing you to fully enjoy the soothing sound of the brook flowing beside your seat. The BBQ machines are unlike anything I've ever seen!

Stopped by this place on the way back from Rohtang and Sissu, and it turned out to be a real good find. They got an old-school vibe, with classic rock playing, a turntable, and a bunch of vinyl records stacked up. Feels like stepping into a different time. It’s a family-run spot, so they take the orders and cook the food themselves. That means it takes a bit of time, but trust me, it’s worth the wait. They even serve some complimentary bread to nibble on while you wait—not something you see in most places. The food was gourmet, with great presentation, and packed with flavour. My family had galantine, asado and roast chicken, and I went for the zuccini primevera with a cup of coffee—both hit the spot. We went to this place adjoining storiiby Itc Manali. We loved everything from food to vibes to lovely hosts. The place feels like a home the moment you enter. The food was so so good. They have two loving pets. The owner arranged a bonfire especially for us. Will surely visit again. Highly recommended.

The place was an absolute vibe...we sat in the inside cafe which has a good old world charm..they have some classic rock vinyl records on display which was pretty cool..the hosts were very warm and welcoming...coming to the food...we ordered the grilled trout and kahwa tea...the tea was good and refreshing..the fish though was a bit bland to my taste but loved the veggies and dip served along with the fish. Loved the veggies so much we ended up ordering a seperate portion of the veggies...

The dinner tables were laid out beautifully, the napkins, crockery, and cutlery were thoughtfully chosen, and the way they served tea was a delight. It felt like a fine dining experience, yet in such a peaceful, homely setting. It was a wonderful stay and lovely, and I look forward to visiting again.
